Brian Smith

Brian joined NSM Funds in August 2023 as Managing Director of the UK Funds business bringing with him more than 30 years’ experience in the listed investment company sector.

Initially working in house at a self-managed investment trust he moved to a boutique administration company in 2001 becoming a director of the business in 2006. He went on to become Managing Director of the UK listed fund administration businesses of PraxisIFM, Sanne Group plc and Apex Group. 

Brian has a wealth of experience in supporting listed companies with wide varieties of investment strategies and structures through IPOs, secondary raises and corporate actions, as well as ensuring day to day administration and governance operations are managed smoothly and accurately.
